11:10 - View southwest - As the trail zigzags up the north flank of Cucamonga Peak, occasionally it wraps around to the west slope.
This view down Cucamonga Canyon provides a look at Frankish Peak (4198') and Potato Mountain (3422'), both guarding the mouth of San Antonio Canyon.
The marine layer in the valleys below add to the scenic beauty of our hike.
