The end of an era.. Monrovia Nursery was sold in 2004 to make way for 1,250 new homes.
This section has already been cleared in this January 2005 photo. The fire station, which marks the trailhead for Garcia Trail, will be relocated. The trailhead will get a nice makeover and be linked to a trail which will follow the arroyo through the development.
