On Friday, September 21, 2012, Space Shuttle Endeavor made its final flight en route to its permanent home at California Space Museum in Los Angeles. Flying on the back of a 747, the shuttle passed over several So Cal landmarks including Malibu Beach, Getty Center, Los Angeles City Hall, Calif. Science Center, Universal Studios, Hollywood Sign, Griffith Observatory, JPL, Disneyland, Boeing, USS Iowa, and landed at LAX. I experienced this historic occasion from Griffith Observatory.
