Makapu'u Head from the West

From the top of Koko Head Crater later on in the day, I took this telephoto shot back toward Makapu'u Head.

At only 647 feet, this lowly summit certainly doesn't compare to the 10,000-foot mountains in my back yard at home near Los Angeles, Calif. But with its majestic lighthouse and amazing Hawaiian scenery, Makapu'u Head offers a most rewarding outing.
