Cucamonga Peak is certainly one of the very finest peaks in the the San Gabriels. The deep blue skies, cool breezes, rich scenery and varied vistas provide a delightful expererience.
1:06 - After an hour and fifteen minutes soaking in the beauty of this splendid peak, Jeff and I head home. The six-mile hike back down is also pleasant, although Jeff's boots are really torturing his feet. We finish the hike at 5:14, ten very enjoyable hours from the start.
